During the state visit of Chilean President Sebastián Piñera organized the Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) under the slogan "Freedom for jailed Mapuche in Chile. Human rights and equality for Chile's largest indigenous people, "a vigil in Berlin. For the situation of about 800,000 Mapuche in Chile is so desperate that 20 political prisoners from the Mapuche 12th July this year have started a hunger strike. 14 more joined them one by one. Just a few days they have stopped the hunger strike.
